Artistic director of “Satyricon” Konstantin Raikin was appointed rector of the Higher School of Performing Arts

Artistic director of the Moscow theater “Satyricon” Konstantin Raikin was appointed rector of the Higher School of Performing Arts (HSSI), according to the website of the institution.

“After a long break, I am recruiting students for a mixed acting and directing course under my guidance,” the People’s Artist of Russia shared his plans.

The report emphasized that after Raikin took office as rector, the stage of legal uncertainty, which had lasted for about a year and a half at the School, ended.

If Raikin received the position, then another prominent Russian artist, artistic director and general director of the Mariinsky Theater Valery Gergiev received an award – by decree of the President of the Russian Federation, he was awarded the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree, reports “Tsargrad”.
