Army Chief General MM Naravane is on a two-day visit to Jammu amid increasing terror attacks on civilians. During this, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps will brief the Army Chief about the current security situation and the preparedness of the security forces for it. The Indian Army gave this information on Monday.
Let us inform that on Sunday, two non-Kashmiri laborers were killed by terrorists in Kulgam district of Kashmir. In addition, a civilian was injured. This was the third attack by terrorists targeting civilians within 24 hours.

Earlier on Saturday evening, terrorists also killed a Golgappe from Bihar and a carpenter from Uttar Pradesh. Amid the killing of civilians, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday promised to avenge the shedding of blood of civilians by killing terrorists and their supporters.
The Indian Army said on Twitter on Monday, ‘General MM Naravane and the Chief of Army Staff will be on a two-day visit to the Jammu region. Here the GOC of the White Knight Corps will apprise them of the security situation and the preparedness of the army. The Chief of Army Staff will also visit the forward areas and interact with the jawans-commanders present here.
