Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has backed the Arab League’s $53 billion plan for Gaza’s reconstruction. France, Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom have also expressed support for this initiative calling it a realistic solution for rebuilding the region.

Following a crucial meeting in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, OIC approved plan and urged the international community to support regional efforts for peace and stability.

Israel announced plans to send a delegation to Qatar for further discussions. Hamas leader Mahmoud Marda stated that they not interested in temporary ceasefire but seek a permanent solution.
