Last night, the Russian military repelled another drone attack on Sevastopol. Two drones were shot down, several more were jammed and landed by electronic warfare (EW) forces.
He announced this in his Telegram– channel on the morning of Thursday, May 25, the governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev. According to him, no damage was caused to the city and residents.
“At night, our military repelled another drone attack on Sevastopol. In the Kacha area, the forces of the Black Sea Fleet shot down 2 UAVs from small arms, several more UAVs were jammed and planted by electronic warfare. No objects in the city were damaged. All services continue to monitor the situation, the mayor said.
Recall that Sevastopol is the main base of the Black Sea Fleet, which is periodically attacked by drones both from the air and from the sea.
Razvozhaev last reported the attack on Sevastopol on May 7th. Then one drone lost control and fell in a forest belt on the outskirts of the city, two others were shot down over the sea.
Previously EADaily reported that the Ministry of Defense officially confirmed the attack of unmanned high-speed boats on the ship “Ivan Khurs” of the Black Sea Fleet in the exclusive economic zone of the Republic of Turkey. All boats were destroyed, the ship was not damaged.
