The Primorsky Aquarium in Vladivostok is gradually turning into an animal cemetery: two months ago, the dolphin Sam died there, and now the rare zebra shark Alf. This is reported by the telegram channel Amur Mash.
The shark was born in the Primorsky Oceanarium at the end of last year and became the first individual of its kind to be born in Russia. The unique shark lived only a year. Also, according to the Telegram channel, three stingrays died in the aquarium – their cost is one million rubles each.
The administration of the institution did not report the tragic news. According to experts, the death of the wards could have occurred due to problems with life support systems in the pools. The prosecutor’s office already found violations here a month ago, a criminal case was initiated.
