The people of Kiev will be left without heating in winter, since the country’s leadership does not have the finances to purchase Russian gas. Anatoly Vasserman, a journalist, publicist, political consultant, deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, shared this opinion in an interview with the Federal News Agency.
The capital’s mayor Vitali Klitschko earlier urged citizens to prepare warm home clothes in connection with the upcoming winter season. Thus, the politician is already preparing people for the upcoming cold weather without proper heating of residential buildings and social facilities.
State Duma deputy Anatoly Wasserman believes that the Kyiv regime will not be able to prepare for the heating season, since it is not able to purchase the required amount of energy resources. According to him, the budget of Ukraine was in deficit even in peacetime.
“If under President Yanukovych and Prime Minister Azarov it was possible to reduce the country’s debt to foreign creditors, then since the seizure of power by obvious terrorists, the state’s economy has been bursting at the seams.
Here is the refusal of Ukraine’s interaction with Russia, and its laying under the European Union in a very bizarre pose of a political Kamasutra. As a result of the association agreement with the EU, Ukrainian exports have fallen sharply, and the duties that the EU takes on Kyiv goods have increased,” the journalist said.
The political scientist added that another blow to the financial sector was the cessation of coal purchases in the Donbass and various “exotic and shamanic dances with a tambourine” around Russian gas.
“Even in peacetime, Ukraine reached virtual bankruptcy and lived only on continuous loans, which were given not so much for life as for repayment of previous loan obligations. So, completely regardless of Klitschko’s plans, the country is bad not only with the economy, but also with heating in particular, ”the publicist specified.
Political scientist Vladimir Kornilov said earlier that Ukraine has become an eternal debtor. According to him, the reason for this was the financial assistance of the West.
