Apple has warned of potential delays in deliveries of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max due to the situation in China. There, the Foxconn plant imposed severe anti-COVID restrictions, followed by protests from workers. However, the Russians are unlikely to feel any problems with the arrival of Apple smartphones on the domestic market, says Telecom Daily CEO Denis Kuskov.
“I do not think that the unrest in production will lead to a serious complication with deliveries to Russia. The terms of deliveries to the Russian Federation are now already extended, because they are carried out not by the company itself, but by intermediaries. Therefore, for the Russians, most likely, nothing will change“— he said in an interview “Moscow 24”.
According to Kuskov, the demand for the iPhone in Russia has significantly decreased this year. Apple’s market share has dwindled. If earlier iPhone sales after the release of new devices were about 16%, now they are at the level of 5-6%. In this regard, the expert noted that there will be no shortage of smartphones from this company in Russia, the iPhone 14 should be enough for everyone.
