The earthquake was recorded at 11:19 UTC.
The epicenter was located 42 kilometers southeast of Zagreb and 14 kilometers west of the city of Sisak. The center of tremors lay at a depth of five kilometers.
According to local media reports, in the city of Petrinha, located about 3 kilometers from the epicenter of the earthquake, roof tiles collapsed from the roofs of houses, and some buildings were badly damaged.
