Ampere Magnus EX stylish scooter launched with 121 KM range in full charge


    Veteran electric two-wheeler company Ampere Electric has introduced its new electric scooter Ampere Magnus EX in the Indian market. The price of the scooter has been fixed at Rs 68,999 (ex-showroom, Pune). In this, many new and better features have been given along with a longer range. The company claims that this electric scooter has a range of 121 km. Comes with a range of up to (ARAI Tested). It will compete with electric scooters like Ola S1.

    40kmph speed in 10 seconds
    The Ampere Magnus EX scooter is powered by a lightweight and portable lithium battery. The company claims that its detachable battery setup makes it easy to charge from any 5-amp socket at home, office, coffee shop or any plug-on-the-wall charge point. The scooter has a 1200-watt motor. The scooter accelerates from 0 to 40 kmph in 10 seconds. It has two riding modes – Super Saver Eco Mode and Pepper Power Mode.

    Talking about the special features of the new scooter, it has been given LED headlight, 450 mm of large legroom space, keyless entry, vehicle finder, antitheft alarm, easy to remove battery. It gets a wide seat designed for better driving comfort. The new electric scooter comes in three color options – Metallic Red, Graphite Black and Galactic Grey. The company said that under the e-vehicle incentive policy of various state governments, this e-scooter of the company will be available to the people at an even more attractive price.

    The Magnus EX scooter comes with a top speed of up to 53 kmph. It gets an ARAI certified range of up to 121 km. Ampere said that intra-city commuters can drive the new Magnus EX for up to three days on a single charge. The company said that with the Magnus EX, customers will get additional power performance as well as additional savings.
