Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali brand oil used to be packaged and supplied from this Singhania Oil Factory in Alwar. The district administration has taken 5 samples from the factory which have failed. Action will now be taken if all the five samples are spread. Patanjali brand packing from Singhania Oil Mill has been supplying mustard oil since 2009. After the complaint of adulteration, on May 27, the team formed on the instructions of the District Collector took action in the factory.
Alwar Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Omprakash Meena said that in the presence of the local administration, the team of Food Safety Officers had taken samples from M/s Singhania Oil Mill located at E-60 Industrial Area of Khairthal on 27 May 2021. In these, Mustard oil pouch (Patanjali brand), Mustard oil bottle (Patanjali brand), Mustard oil (Sri Sri Tattva brand) and Mustard oil (Parliament brand) and 5 samples of mustard oil were collected. According to the test report of Food Safety and Standards Laboratory, Alwar, all the five samples were not found to be of quality.
He said that Mustard Oil Pouch (Patanjali Brand), Mustard Oil Bottle (Patanjali Brand), Mustard Oil (Sri Sri Tattva Brand) and Mustard Oil were found to be sub-standard food items and Mustard Oil (Parliament Brand) was found to be sub-standard and falsified food item. is.
