Baku and Yerevan may conclude a peace treaty in the near future if the Armenian authorities do not change their position again. This was stated by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the state news agency Azertag reports.
According to the head of state, after Yerevan recognized the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, “there is virtually no serious obstacle to the peace treaty.”
“I am sure that a peace treaty can be signed in the near future if Armenia <…> does not change its position again,” — Aliyev said at a meeting with residents of the Lachin region.
