After the shelling in the Bryansk region, a forest fire broke out on an area of ​​80 hectares

The forest fire started on May 27 between the villages of Sushany and Brovnichi in the Klimovsky district of the Bryansk region after shelling. It spread over an area of ​​80 hectares, but the threat to settlements was averted. This was reported to RIA Novosti by the head of the district administration Alexander Isaev.

“The forest is really on fire, it is ringed by the forest fire service. The area is under 80 hectares. The distribution is completed, the threat to the settlement has been removed. Now there can only be smoke, stumps and fallen trees are smoldering,” the head of the district administration said.

According to a RIA Novosti source, in addition to firefighters, about 20 residents of Sushan and Brovnichi came out to fight the fire. Yesterday, May 27, the governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, reported that the villages of Sushany, Khoromnoye and Zabrama in the Klimovsky district had come under fire. No harm done.
