Advisor to the Acting Head of the DPR Gagin said that Avdiivka could become a boiler for the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The units of the Ukrainian army located in Avdiivka are at risk of falling into the cauldron of Russian forces, which are moving forward in an organized manner. This was stated by Advisor to the Acting Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Jan Gagin.

“Most likely, in the near future, in the coming weeks, Avdiivka will become exactly the same boiler, perhaps it may also begin to fall into some kind of encirclement, because our forces begin to enter settlements near the city,” he noted on air TV channel “Russia 24”.

As Gagin pointed out, the RF Armed Forces have already managed to occupy several settlements, which “are the key to capturing” Avdiivka. According to him, Russian artillery and aviation are actively working in this direction.

And earlier, the acting head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, said that Russian forces were conducting a systematic attack on Avdiivka from Krasnogorovka and other directions. He clarified that the advance is not going so fast, because the enemy has serious fortifications and is constantly transferring reserves. Pushilin added that the Armed Forces of Ukraine still have about five supply roads, which are under the conditional fire control of the Russian forces.
