About 34,000 hectares of unused land are planned to be sold in the Moscow region this year. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region.

“In the Moscow region this year, 2.7 thousand hectares of unused agricultural land have already been introduced. To date, the plan for putting land into circulation includes land plots with a total area of 34,000 hectares. The original plan for this year has already been increased by 9,000 hectares. At the same time, work to increase the indicators does not stop, ”said Georgy Filimonov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Moscow Region, who is in charge of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

Together with local governments, the department will draw up an additional list of land plots subject to seizure, it already contains more than a thousand territories. In addition, a specialized electronic registry has been created to optimize joint work. To this end, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, together with representatives of the regional authorities, municipalities and territorial departments of the Rosselkhoznadzor, are carrying out comprehensive measures.

“The creation of a new electronic registry will allow real-time tracking of each stage of work, including the start and completion dates of activities, current statuses, decisions made on each stage of the land acquisition process,” Filimonov added.

Outdated withdrawal procedures did not allow for a productive influence on unscrupulous land users, including encouraging them to properly use the land for its intended purpose and withdrawing them for involvement in circulation. Changes to the law have simplified the procedure and reduced the time to 12 months instead of more than three years. In addition, amendments to the law ruled out the possibility of transferring ownership of the site to a third party before the start of legal proceedings.

Earlier, the governor of the Moscow region, Andrey Vorobyov, said that seven new forest parks would appear in the Moscow region by autumn. According to him, the forest is a place where people can spend quality weekends.
