The emergency regime canceled in can be reintroduced if the spread of coronavirus infections is again high, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said at a news conference on Monday. The press conference is broadcast by NHK.

On Monday, the emergency mode was canceled in the last five regions: Tokyo and the adjacent prefectures of Chiba, Kanagawa and Saitama, as well as in Hokkaido Prefecture.
