A woman born in 1943 was injured during the shelling of the city of Novaya Kakhovka in the Kherson region by the Ukrainian army. This was reported on April 22 by the Investigative Committee of Russia in its telegram channel.

It is specified that according to the executive authorities of the region, Ukrainian troops opened fire from artillery on Nova Kakhovka. As a result of the shelling, a shell hit a residential building and damaged the gas pipeline. In addition, a local resident, an elderly woman born in 1943, was injured.

The victim was hospitalized with multiple shrapnel wounds to her leg. It is also noted that Ukrainian soldiers blew up a locomotive depot in the city of Melitopol in the Zaporozhye region. Investigators of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation are investigating the facts of war crimes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
