A resident of the Amur region died after being bitten by a tick


Tick-borne encephalitis caused the death of a man in the Amur Region. The man was not vaccinated, the correspondent was told IA REGNUM in the press service of the department of Rospotrebnadzor in the region.

In total, over the past week, 15 Amur residents turned to hospitals with tick bites, six of them are children. 3409 doses of immunoglobulin have been prepared for the inhabitants of the region.

In the event of a tick bite, Rospotrebnadzor recommends not removing it yourself, but contacting the nearest emergency room.

As reported IA REGNUM, in July, after a tick bite, a resident of the Sverdlovsk region died. He was not vaccinated and sought medical help late.
