A resident of Shadrinsk lost her money, thinking that she was helping her friend, who asked her for help in one of the messengers. The woman transferred 37,000 rubles to a “friend,” whose account was hacked by scammers. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Kurgan region.

“In one of the messengers from the profile of her close friend, a message was received asking to borrow money. Not making sure that she was really talking with her friend, the victim agreed and transferred 37 thousand rubles to the indicated bank card, ”the police said. The woman realized that she had been deceived when she received a message asking her to lend an even larger amount.

In Shadrinsk, a criminal case was opened under the article “Fraud”. Police officers note that criminals can act on behalf of a friend who asks for a loan, so you need to personally contact the person and make sure that he really needs help.
