A resident of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug who stabbed a friend to death on New Year’s Day was sentenced

A resident of Pokachi was sentenced to 13 years in prison for the murder of his drinking companion. A Ugra resident stabbed him to death on January 1. The district Investigative Committee reported this to URA.RU.

“A conflict occurred during which the defendant stabbed the victim multiple times. The victim died from the injuries sustained at the crime scene. The court found the man guilty and sentenced him to 13 years in prison,” the department said in a statement.

The Ugra resident will serve his sentence in a maximum security penal colony. The murder itself took place in Pokachi on Molodezhnaya Street, house No. 5.
