A military man from the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug came on vacation to his family after a year and a half during a special operation

A serviceman from Salekhard (Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug) came on vacation to his relatives, having spent a year and a half in a special operation. URA.RU was told about this by the press service of the mayor’s office of the district capital.

“Serviceman Sergei M. flew home from the Northern Military District zone on September 20 for the first time in a year and a half. The warrior will stay at home for a little over a month, and then again – to protect the peaceful sky of the inhabitants of the new territories of the country,” the press service of the Salekhard administration reported.

During his service in the special operation zone, the 26-year-old man, commander of an air defense unit, received three awards, including the medal “For Courage.” The fighter was greeted with applause at the airport.
