A man died in a fire in a high-rise building in the east of Moscow

A fire broke out in a multi-storey building in the east of Moscow, due to which a man died. This is reported TV channel “360” with a link to the source.

The fire broke out in an apartment on the ninth floor. Rescuers quickly evacuated residents from the upper floors.

Details of the incident were told in the capital’s prosecutor’s office. A man born in 1981 was in the apartment when the fire started, according to the department. Trying to escape from the rapidly flaring caustic flame, he jumped out of the window. Arriving at the scene, emergency services found his body under the windows of the house.

“The Perov inter-district prosecutor’s office supervises the establishment of all the circumstances of the fire in the apartment on the 9th floor of a residential building on Moldagulova Street. <...> Exact reason [пожара] will be established based on the results of a fire-technical examination,” reported in the telegram channel of the department.
