A company associated with Rotenberg and VEB will complete the construction of the southern understudy of the Moscow Ring Road for 20 billion rubles

Roads and Bridges won the tender for the construction of the last section of the Solntsevo-Butovo-Varshavskoye highway with an overpass at the intersection of Varshavskoye and Rastorguevskoye highways. The company was the only participant in the tender and offered to build a site for 19.9 billion rubles, which is 100 million rubles. less than the starting price. As follows from the draft contract, the main work should be completed by the end of 2025, the improvement of the route – by the spring of 2026. The customer of the construction was the Moscow City State Institution “Department of Road and Bridge Facilities”.

Roads and Bridges was part of the Mostotrest construction company, one of whose owners is businessman Arkady Rotenberg. In 2020, the company became part of the Natsproektstroy group, its founders are the state corporation VEB.RF and Arkady Rotenberg. In December 2022, Roads and Bridges was headed by the main shareholder of the 1520 group, Alexei Krapivin, in January 2023, he also became the director of Natsproektstroy.

The six-lane Solntsevo-Butovo-Varshavskoe highway will connect Borovskoe, Kyiv, Kaluga and Varshavskoe highways. The total length of roads, taking into account interchanges, will be more than 90 km. Its construction began in 2016. Initially, the route was supposed to be completed in 2023, later the completion of work was postponed to 2026.
