The TV channel published an article on Thursday, revealing that Robinson had called himself a “black Nazi” on the Nude website in 2010 and also expressed support for the reinstatement of slavery. According to the channel, many of Robinson’s other comments were “needlessly sexual and obscene” in nature.

The gubernatorial candidate denies any involvement in the scandalous comments. “That’s not me. Those aren’t my words. And that’s not characteristic of me,” Robinson said in an interview with the channel. When presented with a list of evidence linking him to the user on the Nude Africa website, Robinson stated that he “doesn’t want to get into the details of fabricated lies.”

“We’re not dropping out of this (gubernatorial) race,” Robinson added.

Robinson, the current lieutenant governor of the state, is participating in one of the most competitive gubernatorial races in the country against Democrat Josh Stein, the Attorney General of North Carolina.
