Most US voters think former President and Republican candidate Donald Trump will not accept defeat in the upcoming election. According to a survey by CNN‘s research firm SSRS, this fact has been confirmed.
This poll showed that 69% of respondents hope that Trump will not concede if he loses. While only 30% believe he will and 1% are unsure.
On the other hand, survey showed that voters feel differently about Trump’s opponent, Democratic candidate and current Vice President Kamala Harris.
About 73% believe she would accept defeat if she loses, while 26% disagree, and 1% are uncertain.
When asked if they think a losing candidate should concede, 88% of respondents answered yes.
Poll conducted from October 20-23, 2024, among 1,704 registered voters nationwide through online and phone interviews. The margin of error is plus or minus three percentage points.
