American entrepreneur and billionaire Elon Musk stated on his X social network page that he “can’t wait”, reacting to the media information that US presidential candidate Donald Trump is considering the possibility of creating a commission for auditing government programs, which Musk might join.
On Monday, The Washington Post reported, citing informed sources, that if Trump wins the election, he is considering creating a special commission, which might include Musk in its leadership, to conduct an audit of government programs.
“I can’t wait. There’s a lot of waste and unnecessary regulation in the government that needs to be eliminated,” Musk wrote in response to the publication of the news.
In August, Musk stated that he was prepared to take a position in the US government. Earlier, Western media reported that Trump might offer Musk a place in his administration or a consultant role if he wins the election.
