In the area of ​​Cape Kozino off the coast of Nakhodka, the container ship Rise Shine (sailing under the flag of Panama) ran aground; there are no Russian citizens among the 14 crew members, the Far Eastern Transport Prosecutor’s Office previously reported. According to Rosmorrechflot, the vessel received holes, but did not collapse. The evacuation of the crew is hampered by a strong wave – up to four meters, rescuers noted.
“The crew members on board the vessel are Chinese citizens. All 14 people are Chinese citizens,” Pirozhkov said.
