Waves up to ten meters high are expected in the waters of the Pacific Ocean and the Bering Sea in Kamchatka due to the cyclone. Information about this is transmitted by the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

Due to the bad weather in Kamchatka, a storm warning has been announced. According to representatives of the department, a dangerous phenomenon in the region will continue until mid-February 14. For the settlements of Kamchatka, waves on the water do not pose a threat. However, accidents and damage to ships are expected.

“According to the Kamchatka Department for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring, on February 13, in the afternoon, dangerous sea waves eight to ten meters high are predicted in sub-areas in the Aleutian municipal district,” the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

The other day, worsening weather conditions were predicted in Moscow. Deputy mayor of the capital Petr Biryukov warned of strong gusty winds and snowstorms.
