Shiv Sena furious for stopping opposition leaders from going to Lakhimpur Sanjay Raut asked is there UP in Pakistan

Hitting out at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut questioned whether there is Pakistan in Uttar Pradesh. He has said this about the action being taken by the Yogi government to stop Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and other leaders from going to Lakhimpur.

He said that the administration is imposing section 144 in Lakhimpur Kheri, but opposition leaders are being detained in Lucknow.

Speaking to news agency ANI on Lakhimpur Kheri violence, senior Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said, “Section 144 of CrPC is in force in Lakhimpur Kheri. You (government) are arresting opposition leaders in Lucknow. What kind of law is this. Is UP in Pakistan where Indians are stopped from going? Movement from one state to another is banned. Is this a new lockdown?”

He further said, “The administration is like a caged parrot of the ruling party and follows whatever instructions the government gives. There is evidence of vehicles running over farmers.”

Sanjay Raut said, “Priyanka Gandhi has been arrested, Rahul Gandhi is being stopped from boarding the flight. The CM of a state is also being stopped. What crime has he committed? Is there any new constitution in the country Is?”

The Shiv Sena MP also said that all opposition parties will discuss whether a delegation should be sent to Lakhimpur Kheri.
