Imran Khan is engaged in befriending the Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP), which killed more than 150, including 134 innocent children of Army School in Peshawar, Pakistan in 2014. In an interview on Friday, Imran Khan revealed the conversation with some factions of TTP was fiercely gritty. Now Pakistan’s Interior Minister has defended ‘Taliban Khan’ saying that he has been told the difference between good and bad Taliban.
Let me tell you, Pakistan, while making a distinction between good and bad in terrorism, promotes those terrorist organizations which target other countries of the world including India.
A day earlier, Imran Khan had said in an interview to TRT World that his government, with the help of the Afghan Taliban, is trying to reconcile some groups of Tehreek-e-Taliban. TTP is banned in Pakistan and often carries out deadly attacks. The TTP is a part of the Afghan Taliban which demands the creation of Pashtunistan.
Defending Imran Khan’s initiative, Pakistan’s Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said on Saturday that the massacre at the Army Public School was different. Talking to reporters, Sheikh said, “We know who is good and who is bad.” Rashid also said that his government is planning a strategy for the next 20 years and the global scenario is about to change soon.
