Police: Russians were not on the bus with tourists involved in an accident in Turkey

According to preliminary data, there were no Russians in a tourist bus that got into an accident in southwestern Turkey, the number of victims is being specified, RIA Novosti was told in the traffic police of the Mugla province.

Earlier, Turkish media reported about an accident with a tourist bus in the province of Mugla, as a result of which one person died and, according to various sources, from 30 to 49 people, including 41 Ukrainian tourists, were injured. According to DHA, Russians could have been on the bus. The Russian Consulate General in Antalya told RIA Novosti that Russian diplomats are clarifying the circumstances of the accident and the presence of Russians among the injured tourists.
“There is no exact data on the victims yet, some of the passengers were not injured, but all the same they were sent to the hospital. According to the data that we still receive, all the tourists are citizens of Ukraine. However, accurate information will be available later,” the source said.

A tourist bus drove into the oncoming lane, crashed into a minibus carrying schoolchildren, and overturned. The tourist bus driver died on the spot. According to preliminary data, he had a heart attack.
