At least ten people were killed in a shootout between bandits and security forces in the Mexican state of Mexico City, Reuters reported on June 14, citing regional authorities.
All of them were members of a criminal group, which law enforcement officers contacted while conducting an operation in the municipality of Tehcaltitlan. Another seven bandits were arrested. Four of them are injured. In addition, three law enforcement officers were injured during the raid.
