South Africa has badly pushed the West Indies on the back foot in the first Test on the basis of the performance of their fast bowlers. South Africa’s pacers bundled out West Indies for 97 runs. At the end of the day’s play, South Africa had scored 128 for four.

Caribbean team captain Jason Holder won the toss and decided to bat first at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium on the first day of the match on Thursday. However, the score never picked up pace. Lungi Ngidi took five and Enrich Nokia took four. Holder scored 20 runs for West Indies.

In reply, South Africa scored 128 runs for four wickets. However, his start was not good and captain Dean Elgar was dismissed without opening the account. Keegan Pietersen then contributed 19 runs. South Africa’s score was 34 runs for two wickets.
