Veerappa Moily calls Jitin Prasada suspicious leader, says Congress needs major surgery

Political rhetoric continues after Jitin Prasada, a close aide of former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, joined BJP. All the big leaders of the Congress are denying any harm from this, but they are definitely questioning the functioning of the party. Veerappa Moily, senior Congress leader and former Union minister, has termed Jitin Prasad as a doubtful leader, but at the same time called for major surgery in the party.

“Not many leaders, only Jitin Prasada has left. He was always suspicious. He is not secular. He was a casteist and wanted to perpetuate casteist politics in UP. He was given many posts. People committed to the ideology of the party should be given responsibility.

He further said, “Congress needs to undergo major surgery. People with capacity and mass base should be given the charge of different states.

Let us tell you that Jitin Prasada joined BJP yesterday in the presence of Union Minister Piyush Goyal. After this, he also met BJP National President JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
