UP University Exam 2021: To improve marks in UP, universities will give a chance for re-examination

Due to the corona infection in Uttar Pradesh, the candidates appearing in the final year or final semester examination to be conducted on the new pattern in the current academic session (2020-21) will also be given a chance to improve marks. The state government has said that such students who will not be satisfied with the result of the examination to be held under the new system, they will have to appear in all subjects or any subject in the back paper examination to be held in the year 2022 or in the annual or semester examination of the session 2022-23. You will be given a chance to improve your marks.

There will be special examination for corona infected students

The government has asked all the state universities to take a decision after considering the guidelines related to the examination from the level of their Academic Council, Executive Council or Competent Authority. Along with this, the complete action plan has been sought along with the examination schedule till June 18. Keeping in view the autonomy of the universities, this has been expected through the Higher Education Council. The government has also said that if a student is not able to appear in the examination due to corona infection, then that student should be given an opportunity to appear in the special examination of that course or question paper. This special examination can be conducted as per the convenience of the university, so that the students do not face any kind of inconvenience. However, this facility will be available only in the current academic session of 2020-21.

The government has declared the results of all the examinations of the session 2020-21 by 21 August 2021 and asked to start the new academic session (2021-22) from 13 September 2021. Along with this, the universities have been given freedom to simplify the examination system at their own level. The Vice-Chancellor or the Executive Council of the University concerned has been authorized to decide on the nature of the examination and question paper. The government has also suggested that it may be considered to make a single question paper covering all the papers of one subject. Multiple Choice and OMR based or Extended Answer Papers can be prepared according to the preparation of the universities.
