No ban on films made on Sushant Singh Rajput’s life, HC dismisses plea of ​​actor’s father

Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s father has not got any relief from the Delhi High Court. The Delhi High Court has refused to stay the films allegedly proposed, made or produced on Sushant Singh Rajput’s life after his death and dismissed the plea of ​​the actor’s father. In fact, the petition filed by Sushant’s father has sought a ban on various proposed films based on the actor’s life.

According to news agency PTI, the Delhi High Court on Thursday refused to stay the release of the Bollywood film ‘Nyay: The Justice’. The film is scheduled to release on Friday. Sushant’s father had alleged that the image of his late son was being maligned through this film.

In a petition filed in the Delhi High Court, Sushant Singh Rajput’s father Krishan Kishore Singh had sought a ban on the use of his son’s name or similar characters in films. The petition also mentions upcoming or proposed films on Sushant’s life. Let us inform that Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide by hanging himself in his flat in Bandra, Mumbai on June 14, 2020.
