Monsoon In MP: Monsoon reached MP seven days ahead of time, yellow alert issued for 24 hours

Monsoon has already entered in MP this time seven days ahead of time. Rain has started in many parts of the state. The weather pattern has changed in Bhopal too. The Meteorological Department said that the monsoon will reach Bhopal on 13-14. Monsoon will become active in the entire state from June 20.

Monsoon has entered in MP. The India Meteorological Department said that the Southwest Monsoon has reached Madhya Pradesh on Thursday, seven days ahead of its normal time. IMD has issued an orange alert for the districts of Jabalpur and Shahdol divisions. Senior Meteorological Scientist, Meteorological Department, Bhopal P.K. Saha said that in the last 24 hours, there has been rain in many parts of the state including Bhopal, Jabalpur and Gwalior.

Saha said that the northern limit of monsoon passes through Betul and Mandla districts of Madhya Pradesh. With this, Monsoon has reached some parts of the state. Generally, Monsoon arrives in Madhya Pradesh on 17th June. This is the first time in recent memory that the state has entered the state for seven days.

Orange and yellow alert issued
At the same time, the Meteorological Department has issued orange and yellow alerts for some parts of MP. It will remain in effect till Friday morning. Along with this, an orange alert has been issued in the districts of Jabalpur and Shahdol divisions with the forecast of wind speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour, lightning with rain at different places. While a similar forecast has been made for six districts including Betul and Khandwa.

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for wind speed reaching 30 to 40 kmph, lightning and thundershower at isolated places in Bhopal, Sagar, Gwalior and two divisions. With this, the weather condition is expected to remain normal in nine districts including Indore.
