An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 occurred in Croatia , according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) .
The earthquake was recorded at 11:19 UTC (14:19 Moscow time). The epicenter of the tremors was located 42 kilometers southeast of Zagreb and 14 kilometers west of the city of Sisak. The hearth lay at a depth of 5 kilometers.
Local media are starting to publish photos of the aftermath of the earthquake. The pictures show that in the city of Petrinja, located about 3 kilometers from the epicenter of the tremors, roof tiles have collapsed from the roofs of houses, and some buildings are badly damaged.
