Indian Institute of Management (IIM)-Bangalore has topped among B-schools in the country for the third year in a row. IIM-Bangalore has got this position in the released ranking of the subject of business and management by the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University. In a statement issued on Thursday, IIM Bangalore said that the QS World University Rankings take into account factors such as employer reputation, academic reputation and research impact to rank institutions globally.
He said, “The education offered by IIM Bangalore on the subject of Business and Management has got high ranking in all the three categories. Due to which IIM Bangalore has been voted as the best B-School in the country. Professor Rishikesh T Krishnan, Director, IIMB said, “We scored well in academic reputation and H-index citation criteria. This is reflected in our pursuit of academic excellence in the areas of disciplines and research potential.
IIM Bangalore said, “Being ranked in the top 51-100 category, achieving 76th rank globally in business and management disciplines is not only an achievement but also an achievement to adapt, innovate and provide quality education in these challenging times. QS University evaluates more than 5,500 universities in 80 different locations around the world to rank the top 1000 universities in 51 disciplines.
