US authorities note an increase in the number of opponents of further funding of Ukraine among congressmen. This was stated by the coordinator for strategic communications at the White House National Security Council, John Kirby.

“We are seeing a growing number, particularly among House Republicans, who are critical of future spending and aid to Ukraine,” Kirby told The Telegraph. The criticism comes mostly from Republicans on the House’s right wing.

It was previously reported that Ukraine expects $43 billion from Western countries in 2024 to cover the budget deficit. Kyiv’s expenses are twice as high as its income. In total, since February 2022, Ukraine has received financial assistance from foreign partners in the form of grants and loans amounting to $60 billion, reports TV channel 360.
