Simbhawli police station of Hapur has arrested a youth. Fake notes worth Rs 3.64 have been recovered from him. One of the accused had installed a machine in his house to print fake notes of Rs 2,000. Shahzad told in police interrogation that Suraj Saini of his gang had ordered fake notes at Brajghat. The fake notes of Rs 3.64 lakh were waiting to be handed over to him. Meanwhile, the police caught him. 184 notes of Rs 2 thousand were found from Shahzad. According to the police, these notes have been found fake in the investigation of experts. The bike and mobile of the accused have also been confiscated. The bike belongs to his relative. Among those absconding are Sarik of Muzaffarnagar and Suraj Saini of Ratanpuri police station area.
Sarik used to print notes
According to the police, Sarik had devised a system to print fake notes in his house. Advance printer, scanner, paper and other items were kept for printing. On demand, many times these lakhs of rupees notes were printed in a short time. SP Neeraj Jadoun told that Shahzad and Suraj together used to consume notes in Noida, Ghaziabad, Hapur of NCR and Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Saharanpur, Meerut etc. Due to being the same series, each note was given to the merchants.
