Now engineering students will be able to study in Hindi also. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) on Wednesday, Vice Chancellor Prof. This decision was taken in the meeting of Vidya Parishad chaired by Vinay Kumar Pathak. In this, approval was given to start B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering course in Hindi language.
The engineering department has more than 70 thousand seats in the colleges affiliated to AKTU in the state. The university has sought proposals from affiliated colleges interested in pursuing engineering studies in Hindi.
In this meeting held online, it was decided to give Homi Bhabha Teaching Fellowship of the University to PhD students operating in the Center for Advanced Studies of the University. In the meeting, approval was given for reimbursement of expenses incurred in internship to the students of Center for Advanced Studies of the University. Along with this, under the new education policy, the university has given permission to conduct courses in five new branches in emerging areas. These include Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Computer Science and Design, Automation and Robotics and MBA Innovation Entrepreneurship and Venture Development. In the meeting, IIT Roorkee Prof. Sunil Bajpai, University Registrar Nand Lal Singh, Finance Officer GP Singh, Controller of Examinations Prof. Rajiv Kumar and other members participated.
Artificial Intelligence course will start in IET
In the meeting, approval was given to start M.Tech course in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science from the upcoming session in IET, Lucknow, the constituent institute of the university. Approval was given to conduct two non-credit research based courses in B.Tech course in order of new education policy in IET. These courses include Practices and Ethical Issues in Research and Research Technology.
