Even though the pace of new cases of Corona has stopped for the last three days, the death toll has scared us. In the last 24 hours, 6148 people have died due to corona. This figure is the highest ever. There had not been so many deaths on any day since the start of corona infection in India. In the last one day, 94,052 new cases of corona have been found. Apart from this, 1,51,367 people have been discharged. In this way, the recovery rate is one and a half times as compared to the new case. But the death toll has created panic. It is clear from this that Corona cannot be taken lightly and it can still wreak havoc.
However, this figure of deaths from Corona in one day has increased because Bihar has revised its data. In Bihar, 3900 old cases of deaths due to corona have also been added to the lives lost in the last one day. Because of this, this figure seems to be quite large. If 3,900 cases of Bihar are removed, then 2248 people have died in the last one day. Apart from this, the number of total active cases in the country is also decreasing rapidly. At present, the number of active cases in India has come down from less than 12 lakhs to 11,67,952. After 60 days, the number of active cases has come down so much.
More recoveries than new cases for 28 consecutive days
In the last 24 hours itself, the number of active cases has come down by 63,463. Apart from this, this is the third consecutive day when the number of new cases has been registered below 1 lakh. Not only this, this is also the 28th day for more recovery than new cases. So far, 2,76,55,493 people have recovered from Corona in the country. The recovery rate from Corona in India has also increased to 94.77%.
More than 24 crore vaccines were administered in the country, the positivity rate also decreased
Not only this, the weekly positivity rate has also come down to 5.43%. The daily positivity rate has now come down from less than 5 percent to 4.69 percent. Meanwhile, India has also made a big progress on the vaccination front. So far 24 crore vaccines have been administered in the country.
