The Congress on Friday said that former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot is not angry and the vacant posts in the state cabinet and government corporations and boards will be filled up at the earliest by talks. Will go Party general secretary and Rajasthan in-charge Ajay Maken also said that he is having daily talks with Pilot.
Significantly, amid reports of Sachin Pilot’s displeasure, his supporters have expressed their displeasure over the delay in resolving the issues raised by him. About half a dozen MLAs close to Pilot also met him on Thursday at his residence in Civil Lines.
Amidst these speculations, the pilot reached Delhi on Friday. However, sources close to him say that the former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan often visits Delhi for family reasons. “There is nothing like this,” Maken told reporters here on a question related to the alleged resentment of the pro-Pilot legislators. Everyone is being heard. Everyone is working together.
He said, “The vacant posts, whether it is in the cabinet or within the government, in boards or corporations, will be filled soon after talking to everyone. Soon there will be appointments. On the question related to the displeasure of the pilot, Maken said, “It is not so at all. I am talking to him everyday. If he was angry, would we have spoken?’
The alleged displeasure of Pilot and his supporting MLAs has fueled speculation after former Union minister Jitin Prasada joined the BJP. On the other hand, Pilot took a jibe at BJP leader Rita Bahuguna Joshi and said on Friday that the BJP leader may have spoken to (cricketer) Sachin Tendulkar. Pilot said that Bahuguna does not have the courage to talk to him. It is worth noting that BJP leader Rita Bahuguna had said in the past that she had reportedly spoken to an angry Congress leader about joining the BJP.
