Ajmer: Congress’s unique performance against petrol, diesel and rising inflation, made 52 effigies of PM and dumped them in the drain

Petrol and diesel prices are skyrocketing. In Rajasthan, where earlier petrol crossed the hundred mark, now diesel rates have also reached above hundred. Congress demonstrated against the central government in Rajasthan over the rising price of petrol-diesel and domestic gas cylinders. On the call of Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee, Congress leaders and workers staged this protest at several petrol pumps.

A unique performance was seen in Ajmer during this period, which was the center of attraction for everyone. In fact, a large number of Congress workers gathered under the leadership of outgoing city president Vijay Jain and councilor Dharmendra Satyawana at the petrol pump on Srinagar Road in Ajmer. Everyone raised slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After this, everyone took effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in their hands and took out a rally shouting slogans and after that all the effigies were shed in the drain. It is being told that 52 effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi were made here and then they were thrown into the drain.

Vijay Jain and Councilor Naresh Satyawana said that the BJP government, which came to power raising the issue of inflation, has now made the lives of the people difficult by increasing the inflation wildly. If the central government wants to cut its taxes on petrol and diesel, it can give relief to the common man, but the government is engaged in providing benefits to Ambani and Adani. PM Modi should leave the chair now. At the same time, demonstrations were also held on behalf of the Congress people at other petrol pumps in the city and expressing their displeasure against the central government, a demand has been made to reduce the rates.
