Agra University exams will be on OMR sheet only and a total of 100 questions will be asked from the students. In one and a half hour time, students will have to answer only 50 questions out of 100. During the epidemic period, all the students of the first year will be promoted and the examinations of the students of the second and third years will be conducted. This decision was taken on Thursday by the Examination Committee of Dr. BR Ambedkar University in a meeting chaired by the Vice-Chancellor.
University PRO Dr Sunita Gupta said that this meeting was held under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof Ashok Mittal. in which various decisions were taken. In this, it has been decided to conduct graduation second and third year and postgraduate final year examinations in the courses of annual system. First year graduate students will be promoted and their first year marks will be determined on the basis of marks obtained in second year examination in the year 2022. Similarly, the students of first year post graduation will be given marks next year on the basis of final year examination. All the examinations will be based on OMR and will be of one and half hour duration. Out of total 100 objective type questions, students will have to answer 50 questions. The annual examinations will start from the third week of July which will continue till August 15 and the result will be declared by August 31. Only oral will be conducted consisting of practical examination and oral.
Videography of the oral examinations will be compulsory and not more than 75 per cent marks will be awarded. The oral examinations will be conducted from July 1 to 15. The representations of the students who have failed in LLB and BALLB Final Year 2020 with very less marks are considered and it has been decided that they can re-appear in any two papers. The PRO said that in this meeting Registrar Dr. Anjani Kumar Mishra, Controller of Examinations Dr. Rajiv Kumar, Finance Officer AK Singh, Prof. Umesh Chand Sharma, Prof. Pradeep Sridhar, Prof. PK Singh, Prof. Anil Verma, OTA President Dr. Omvir Singh, General Secretary Dr. Bhupendra Chikara, Dr. Nirmala Yadav and Assistant Registrar Pawan Kumar were present.
Students will oppose OMR pattern
Dr BR Ambedkar University Agra has decided to conduct the examination on OMR sheet. After which the students started protesting against it. Student leader Amit Goswami said that conducting examination on OMR sheet is playing with the future of students. He said that the future of the students would not be allowed to be played with at all and voice would be raised in the interest of the students for the written examinations.
